Basic Acrobatics

   Wednesday 630PM - 8PM - Kyle Scott

An introduction to the building blocks of acrobatics; handstands, bridges and cartwheels, and leads to the beginnings of front and back handsprings. This class is a great introduction to movement, regardless of your skill level. Watch skills and fitness develop hand in hand under Kyle's instruction, assuming your not afraid of getting a little sweaty. 

 

Intermediate Acrobatics  

Monday 630PM - 8PM - Kyle Scott

Once students have mastered the building blocks of acrobatics, they are invited to advance to the intermediate class where they will focus on building combinations and continuing to build on the basic skills. Let Kyle's tough love bring your potential to life and fine tune your flips, jumps, rolls and twists.

 

Hand Balancing/Partner Acrobatics

Wednesday 8PM - 930PM  - Kyle Scott

This class in hand balancing focuses on partner acrobatics, with an emphasis on refining balance, creative movement and safety in partner work. No experience or partner required! Build skills in strength, balance and coordination while learning valuable communication skills. Come stack, stand, balance and occasionally end up in a heap on the floor. Fun skills and a couple of good laughs are guaranteed with this all levels class.

 

Handstands and Balance

Thursday 630PM - 8PM - Alex Smith

Handstands are the basis of acrobatic and physical circus training. This class works on building the balance and strength to maintain a handstand through flexibility, core work and strength training and will explore other solo balance postures and exercises. Let Alex's broad range of experience find the approach, knowledge and motivation you need to reach your handstand goals. Come be strong, centered and find balance in your life and your circus work.

 

Cyr Wheel - 3 class session, Sept 11 - 25th

Thursday and Monday 8PM - 930PM

This class introduces students to the use of this circus apparatus that allows for the performance of countless acrobatic moves inside the wheel. Students will work on basic manipulation of the wheel as well as strength, flexibility and basic acrobatics to build towards learning simple and more challenging moves in the wheel.  Don't let Christine's smile fool you, she has a deep understanding of body work, acrobatics and cyr wheel. that will bring out the most in your cyr wheel potential.

 

Youth Circus 8 and up

Monday 5PM - 6PM

This 1 hour class is meant to balance basic skill progressions in solo and partner acrobatics, balance and dance work with an open ended approach to finding your interest, and building of your strengths. From body awareness, to exploration and play Alex wants to foster a positive relationship between young people and their bodies, while providing technical knowledge of movement, safety, self care and fitness.
