YOUTH & TEEN AERIALS
YOUTH AERIALS (7-12 YRS)
SATURDAY 12PM - 1PM & 1PM - 2PM - KRISTIN LANGILLE
This class is specially designed for youth to discover aerials in a safe, progressive, and fun space. Through a combination of games, yoga, play, and a structured curriculum we work on positive body awareness, strength, and flexibility. Try out the aerial silks, trapeze, cerceau, and hammock. A low teacher to student ratio allows for plenty of one-on-one time, and a safety conscious exploration of the upside-down world above the ground. Plus (and this one is for you, parents) we burn a ton of energy!
WEDNESDAY 5PM - 6:30PM - MADELAINE HIGGINS
A great way for youths to explore the arts, grain strength, and freak out their friends. This class will cover the pillars of contemporary circus practice: acrobatics, team building, flexibility, superhuman strength, handstands, aerials, movement and improv. Are you a youth? Do you feel like crawling out of your own skin sometimes? Been there-- survived that. Come circus about it.
YOUNG CIRCUS 1 (5-8)
SATURDAYS 10 - 11AM - MIKE HIRSCHBACH
This circus class for our youngest students combines circus skills such as balancing on props and simple acrobatics with games and imaginative play. Let Mikes humor, years of experience with youth circus and enthusiasm bring a new element of learning, growth and confidence into your child's life. It’s a great introduction to the excitement and pleasures of circus and an hour away from screens of all kinds.
YOUNG CIRCUS 2 (9-12)
SATURDAYS 11AM - 12 - MIKE HIRSCHBACH
This circus class for young students develops balance skills on props and tightrope. Build confidence, body positive attitudes and a sense of curiosity and play before the trials of teenage years. Let Mike's infectious love of circus create a space to learn, grow and explore.
