These full day youth camps are perfect for the active and creative camper who wants to learn more about circus.

From aerials, to acrobatics to juggling to unicycles and more – we will spend the week learning new skills and having a blast. The youth will showcase what they've learned on the last day of camp for their parents, guardians and families!

Located in the heart of downtown Halifax, our week long camp programs are ideal for children who want to learn more about Circus arts.

CIRCUS FANTASY CAMP (6-8YRS)

Join us as we explore the magical world of Circus! During this week long camps we will use a mixture of circus skills, theatre games and music to develop our own characters and then, using our skills of cooperation, create a special adventurous world that parents and friends can visit on the final day of camp.

CIRCUS SKILLS CAMP (9-12YRS)

Campers will be introduced to a variety of different circus arts and work together to create a performance for their friends and family on the final day of camp. We will also introduce theatre games and musicality to learn the importance of being a well-rounded performer.

UNDER THE SEA CIRCUS CAMP (13-17YRS)

Join us as we explore the magical world of Circus! During this week-long camp, we’ll explore circus skills such as aerials, balance, and object work (juggling and diabolos and more). Then we’ll add physical theatre, games, and music to the mix to create our own underwater characters in an under the sea world that family and friends can visit on the final day of camp.

The full week of classes (Monday - Friday)

  • Pre and post camp care is available for students needing to be dropped off and/or picked up outside of regular camp hours. Pre camp care allows students to be dropped off between 8:30am-9am. Post camp care allows students to be picked up between 4pm-5pm. Pre and Post camp care cost $25 each, and are valid for the whole week.

  • Students are to bring their own snacks and lunches.

  • Halifax Circus cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries incurred in classes, or on its premises. Students/parents are financially responsible for any physical damage they/their children do to the building.

  • Some camps have a minimum registration and if that number is not met the class will not be offered. You will be notified of any canceled classes.

  • All classes and camps are subject to a $35 non refundable fee per enrollment.

*A signed letter by one of the parents or guardians is required if someone else other than the parent or guardian will be picking up your children.
